Early Intervention (Birth to Age 3)
What is Early Intervention?
Early Intervention (EI) is a free and voluntary program that supports families with children from birth up to age 3 when there is a concern about their development. This program promotes a child's growth and development by supporting families during the critical early years. EI services are provided in the home, childcare, or in the community and focus on caregivers learning how to best help their child learn and grow during everyday routines.
