Vision 2030 and SOD Update: Board Reviews Draft Statutory Operating Debt Plan; Boundary Changes and Secondary Programming Updates

At its study session on Monday, Jan. 12, 2026, the Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education continued its work to address the district’s required Statutory Operating Debt (SOD) plan. This included review of proposed boundary adjustments; a draft SOD plan that will need to be finalized, approved by the Board and submitted to the Minnesota Department of Education; and additional updates focused on middle school course offerings and high school programming transitions.

Opportunity - Circle of Security-Parenting education group

We are seeking parents or caregivers of children 0-6 to participate in a Circle of Security-Parenting education group. A teacher, who is completing their Master's degree in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health through the University of Minnesota, will guide parents and/or caregivers in making their child feel safe, understood, supported and ultimately enhancing their social and emotional development. The teacher will be supervised by a licensed mental health provider who will be present for the sessions. This 8 session group is free and starts the week of March 8th, 2026.

North Memorial Health is offering child car seat safety clinics. Nationally certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will teach you how to correctly install and use your child's care seat or booster seat.
