The Golden Valley Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission (DEIC) is holding its annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Human Rights Contest for youth. This contest is open to all Robbinsdale Area School students in grades K-12.

Cards for a Cause Early Learning Fundraiser

The Early Learning Parent Advisory Council are selling boxes of Usborne handcrafted cards for $30 each to support the Robbinsdale Area School Early Learning Program. Four of the boxes contain 30 beautiful cards, many with 3D elements. That's just $1 per card!! The Holiday Card Collection contains 50 cards! There are five boxes of cards to choose from: All Occasion Box #1, All Occasion Box #2, Thanks and Blanks Box, Kids Birthday Box, and the Holiday Card Collection. Card samples from previous collections are available to view in the ECFE office, Rm 15 at the New Hope Learning Center. 

*Box and card design are subject to change based on availability.*

This fundraiser runs through December 13 with delivery on December 19 at New Hope Learning Center.

You may place your order online, or with the ECFE office if paying by check.

Reading Corps

To support students who need extra practice and skill building in Robbinsdale, 14 tutors are needed throughout the district. If you or someone you know is interested in helping students build their reading, math or early literacy/numeracy skills, you’re sure to make a difference.

Hunger Solutions

Hunger Solutions continues to be a great option for finding food resources in your area all year round. The Hunger Solution website allows you to search by location, day, and food support type (i.e. food shelves vs. free meals). 

Energy Assistance Program (EAP) 

The Energy Assistance Program (EAP) is now accepting applications to help eligible families pay for energy and water bills. The CAP Hennepin County website has instructions on how you can apply. 

United Way 211 Holiday Food and Gift Resources

United Way 211 has holiday resources for interested families. United Way 211 has a Hennepin County Holiday Food Resources website and a Hennepin County Holiday Gift/Toy Resources website.

Early Learning PAC Meeting

Interested in being more involved? Join the Early Learning Parent Advisory Council!

Robbinsdale Area Schools’ Early Learning Parent Advisory Council (PAC) is an important group of parents who work to support our district’s Early Learning programming.  PAC parents meet once per month to discuss programming, policies, advocacy, fundraising, and more.  

We would like to invite you to our November 30th PAC meeting from 6:30-7:45 pm.  The meeting will be held at the New Hope Learning Center.  Pizza will be served and child care for children 3 months - 5 years old will be available. Please call 763-504-4170 or email ecfe_281@rdale.org to reserve your spot.  Your RSVP will help us in planning for seating, childcare and food.
