The Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education begins 2025 with new leadership and a fresh addition to its ranks.
During its annual organizational meeting on Jan. 6, 2025, the board welcomed Director Aviva Hillenbrand, who joins as a newly elected member following her victory in the November election. Returning directors Helen Bassett and Greta Evans-Becker also took the ceremonial oath of office to continue their service after being re-elected.
The meeting included the election of board officers for the year. Evans-Becker was named Board Chair, with Director Caroline Long elected as Vice Chair. Director ReNae Bowman was chosen as Clerk, and Hillenbrand assumed the role of Treasurer.
