Board of Education Welcomes New Member, Elects 2026 Leadership

The Robbinsdale Area Schools Board of Education marked the start of 2026 at its annual organizational meeting on Jan. 5, welcoming a new member and selecting Board leadership for the year.

The board also welcomed DJ (Richard) Brynteson, who took the oath of office and officially joined the board after being appointed Nov. 20 through a Board appointment process.

As part of the annual reorganization, the Board elected officers for the 2026 calendar year. Director Greta Evans-Becker was elected Board Chair, with Director Kenneth Wutoh elected as Vice Chair. Director ReNae Bowman was elected to serve as Clerk, and Director Aviva Hillenbrand was elected Treasurer.
