Wrapping Up, Looking Ahead

This week marked the final stretch of the Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030 community engagement phase. With formal meetings completed and hundreds of survey responses rolling in, we’re now preparing for our next big step: turning community input into concrete options for the School Board to consider this fall.

📍 Student Engagement:

✔ Early May – Elementary school students will receive age-appropriate coloring and activity booklets that allows them to explore Reimagine Rdale and asks for their input on how they think schools should look and feel.

📍 Ongoing Outreach:

✔ Pop-up survey events continued across the district
✔ Our team is analyzing input from more than 16,000 participants

💬 A word from Superintendent Dr. Teri Staloch: “We’re nearing a transition point. We’ve listened, we’ve learned, and now we begin the important work of aligning vision with action.”

📆 Looking Ahead: Vision Team Gathers Again

📍 Next Vision 2030 Team Meeting:

✔ April 30 – FAIR School Crystal

The team will dive deeper into safety and security, standard operating procedures, and take a long look at academic visioning and programs.

Two Distinct but Interconnected Efforts

Robbinsdale Area Schools is engaged in two parallel—but connected—efforts:

🔹 Budget deficit and stabilization: The district must cut $21 million for the 2025-26 school year to restore financial stability.
🔹 Reimagine Rdale: Vision 2030: A long-term planning initiative to create a strong, sustainable, and competitive future for our district.
