Winter weather closing guidelines

Sometimes Robbinsdale Area Schools may be forced to close school or shift to e-learning due to extreme temperatures or significant snowfall. 

Decisions on school cancellations always receive careful consideration, and are made as quickly as possible to give families time to make alternate childcare plans. Before closing school, the superintendent consults with key staff and monitors the forecast to make the best decision for students, staff and families.
