Pyramid Model: Program Wide Data and Social Emotional Learning

Robbinsdale Early Learning uses a tiered framework, or approach, for intentionally teaching children social emotional skills. This framework is called the Pyramid Model and consists of three tiers of teaching and behavior support practices that benefit young children. Our program is committed to the implementation of these practices and uses a variety of strategies including data collection to inform our professional development, which results in program wide training of all staff and Pyramid Model coaching.

Pyramid Model coaching is a collaborative partnership that supports teachers’ use of effective social emotional teaching practices resulting in better outcomes for children. In our Early Learning program, 70% of our teachers are being coached (with new teachers added every year!), for a total of 115 coaching hours!
