Family Literacy Program
Parents and children, ages 33 months to 5 years old, attend school together through the Family Literacy program.
Parents work on earning a GED or diploma, improving their academic skills, or learning English at the Adult Academic Program while their children attend Early Childhood Family Education preschool classes in the same building.
As a part of the Family Literacy program, families also participate in parenting classes, interactive reading time for the caregiver and child, and engage in games and activities that promote learning.
Program classes meet Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Crystal Learning Center, 305 Willow Bend, in Crystal. For more information or to register, call Adult Academic Programs at 763-504-8300.
Call the Adult Academic office at 763-504-8300 for registration information or visit the Adult Academic webpage.
